Ealing Soup Kitchen

Ealing Soup Kitchen (ESK) is a charity based in St John's, and run by a group of local churches who seek to help anyone who needs hot, nutritious food & a helping hand. We’ve been running a weekend Soup Kitchen since 1973 at St John’s Church for homeless & vulnerable people. ESK also run Monday & Friday drop-ins where we provide clothes, food, a hairdresser, showers, practical help, games and a doctor on site.

ESK has a two-fold mission to:

  • share the love of Jesus through voluntarily providing hot nutritional food for those in need in a safe, family setting;
  • respectfully offer advice and a helping hand.

There is a strong link between the Soup Kitchen and St John’s Café Church run on a Sunday evening, with many members of the worshipping community at Café Church coming from the Soup Kitchen.

The Soup Kitchen and Hub are supported by the Ealing Churches Worker with Homeless People (ECWwH) who is based at St John's
